Ring of Fire (musical)

Ring of Fire is a jukebox musical based on the music of Johnny Cash.
After successful test runs in outside cities, the production opened on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on March 12, 2006. Due to mixed reviews and critical reception, as well as low ticket sales, the final performances were in April 2006, only one month after opening.Many felt the failure was due to the show being booked into a theatre that was too large for the intimacy of the show. The original Broadway production featured Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick , and Grammy winning Nashville recording artist Lari White.
