Hairy RNA localisation element (HLE)

The hairy localisation element (HLE) is an RNA element found in the 3' UTR of the hairy gene. HLE contains two stem-loops. HLE is essential for the mediation of apical localisation and the two stem-loop structures act to allow the recognition of hairy mRNA by the localisation machinery. HLE is found in Drosophila species.

Ornithocheirae

Ornithocheirae is an extinct clade of pteranodontoid pterosaurs from the Early Cretaceous to the Late Cretaceous (middle Barremian to middle Campanian stages) of Asia, Europe, North America and South America. It was named by Harry Seeley in 1870 as a family that contains Ornithocheirus and its relatives. The name was emended to Ornithocheiridae, to match the requirements of the ICZN Code that a family-ranked clade should end with an -idae suffix. Brian Andres (2010, in press) in his review of pterosaur phylogeny, defined the name Ornithocheirae phylogenetically, as a node-based taxon consisting of the last common ancestor of Anhanguera and Ornithocheirus and all its descendants. Thus Ornithocheirae is defined to include two families, the Anhangueridae and the Ornithocheiridae, following the opinion of Alexander Kellner and Andres that these families should not be synonymized based on their original phylogenetical definitions.

Russian ruble

The ruble or rouble (Russian: рубль, rublʹ, plural рубли́, rubli; see note on English spelling) (code: RUB) is the currency of Russia and the two partially recognized republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Formerly, the ruble was also the currency of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union before their dissolution. Belarus and Transnistria use currencies with the same name. The ruble is subdivided into 100 kopeks (sometimes written as kopecks or copecks; Russian: копе́йка, kopeyka; plural: копе́йки, kopeyki). The ISO 4217 code is RUB or 643; the former code, RUR or 810, refers to the Russian ruble before the 1998 redenomination (1 RUB = 1000 RUR).

Marriage Act 1949

The Marriage Act 1949 (12, 13 & 14 Geo 6 c 76) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom regulating marriages in England and Wales.
The wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005 brought into question whether civil marriages were available to members of the British royal family. Lord Falconer, the Lord Chancellor, replied to the House of Lords that he was convinced that the marriage was in accordance with the 1949 Act.
The Act had prohibited solemnizing marriages during evenings and at night. Since the Marriage Act 1836 it had been forbidden to marry between the hours of six in the evening and eight in the morning. This prohibition was repealed on 1 October 2012.
The Marriage Act 1949 was the first Act to be enacted under the Consolidation of Enactments (Procedure) Act 1949.

East Branch Chandler River

The East Branch Chandler River is a 5.2-mile-long (8.4 km) tributary of the Chandler River in Washington County, Maine. It flows west from its source (44°42′17″N 67°34′20″W) in Jonesboro, to its mouth in Centerville.

Dennis C. Brown

Dennis Challen Brown (also credited as D.C. Brown or simply Dennis Brown) is an American film and television composer.
He is best known for composing the soundtrack to the 1987-1996 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated TV series, along with Chuck Lorre—whom he has continued to work with ever since.

Teodosie of Wallachia

Teodosie was the Prince of Wallachia between 1521 and 1522. He was the son and heir of Neagoe Basarab. Being too young to be the ruler, his regents were his mother, Serbian princess Despina Branković and his uncle, Preda Craiovescu of the Craiovești family. In the battle between the Draculești and the prince's army (10th October 1521), Preda Craiovescu dies. As a result, Teodosie flees to Oltenia with his mother and before seeking refuge in Istanbul.
