The history of Kattoor grama panchayath originates only after the formation of the panchayath in the year 1952 AD. In fact before the formation of the panchayath there were not much more specific reports to the path of future to indulge as a historical background of this place. After starting freedom struggle a few patriots have marked their name in that movement. In other way we can say they have rendered sincere contribution by participating in the freedom struggle.
