American singer Lady Gaga has released three studio albums, three compilation albums, four extended plays, twenty-three singles (including two as a featured artist) and six promotional singles. As of June 2014, she has sold an estimated 27 million albums and 125 million singles worldwide. She has also sold around 7.25 million singles in the United Kingdom.
Gaga made her debut in August 2008 with the studio album The Fame, an album that drew inspiration from 1980s music while incorporating dance music and clear hooks. The Fame peaked at number two in the United States and was subsequently certified triple platinum while also seeing large success in Europe where it topped the charts in Germany and the United Kingdom. Its first two singles, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face", both were worldwide success, reaching number one in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, and the United States.
