Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization

Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) is an independent organization headquartered in Redondo Beach, California. Founded by Linda Reinstein and Doug Larkin on April 1, 2004, The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) is the largest independent asbestos victims’ organization in the U.S. Since 2004, ADAO has been dedicated to preventing consumer, environmental and occupational asbestos-caused diseases through national and international education, advocacy, and community initiatives. ADAO has also worked to have products that contain asbestos properly regulated, including children's toys that have included asbestos without warnings in recent year such as a "CSI" fingerprint toy kit containing asbestos powder.
