Gawand baug

Gawand Baug is a residential colony in Thane city of Maharastra state India. It is located on the northeast side of Upvan Lake. Gawand Baug has "Yeoor" hills on its western side. Previously it was a mango orchard owned by the Gawand family. Now a residential complex consisting of many apartments has been built in this place. The Pokhran Road 1 & 2 connects Gawand Baug with other parts of Thane city.
