Minuscule 191

Minuscule 191 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), ε 224 (Soden), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment. Palaeographically it has been assigned to the 12th century. It has marginalia.
Description
The codex contains a complete text of the four Gospels on 180 elegant parchment leaves (size 13.2 cm by 9.5 cm). The text is written in one column per page, in 27 lines per page, in black ink.
The text is divided according to the κεφαλαια (chapters), whose numbers are given at the margin in Latin.
It contains Prolegomena, αναγνωσεις (lessons – later hand), and subscriptions at the end of each book, with numbers of στιχοι.

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type. Hermann von Soden assigned it to the textual family Kx. Aland did not place it in any Category.
