Hvozd (Prostějov District)

Hvozd is a village and municipality (obec) in Prostějov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 12.37 square kilometres (4.78 sq mi), and has a population of 658 (as at 28 August 2006).
Hvozd lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) north-west of Prostějov, 26 km (16 mi) west of Olomouc, and 186 km (116 mi) east of Prague.
