Conover, North Carolina

Conover is a city in Catawba County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 8,239 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Hickory–Lenoir–Morganton Metropolitan Statistical Area. Conover is home to the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn.
History
The Bolick Historic District and George Huffman Farm are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 11.12 square miles (28.8 km2), all land.
