1970–71 Huddersfield Town F.C. season

Huddersfield Town's 1970–71 campaign was Town's first season in the Football League's top division since the 1955–56 season. Following the successful previous season in Division 2. They finished in 15th place, but only finished 9 points clear of the relegation zone. They had some brilliant results during the season including a 2–1 win over champions and FA Cup winners. Arsenal. They were even top of the table after 2 matches following wins over Blackpool and Southampton. The stay in the top would only last one more season, following the dramatic slide in the 1971–72 season.
