Irina Lankova (born September 11, 1977) is a Russian concert pianist.
Early life
Lankova was born in Russia, she first studied in Moscow with Irina Temchenko, Irina Naumova and Lev Naumov, successor to Heinrich Neuhaus. She graduated with highest honours from the Gnessin Music School in Moscow, followed by Premier Prix with highest honours at Brussels’ Royal Conservatory studying with pianist Evgeny Moguilevsky. She's is receiving personal musical guidance from Vladimir Ashkenazy.
Professional career
Lankova has played as a soloist with many orchestras including Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Nijnij Novgorod Philarmonic and Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra.
She has recorded several CDs: "Rachmaninov & Liszt" (2004), "Scriabin - from Romantic to Mystic"(2006), "Chopin" (2008), "Schubert. The Journey" (2012); which have received positive international reviews.
